Let's meet each other

I'm Oksana Denysenko, a Registered Psychotherapist with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I invite you to embark on a journey of healing and personal growth. Together, we can work towards enhancing your quality of life, unlocking your potential, reclaiming control, fostering fulfilling relationships, nurturing self-confidence, and discovering new meanings. I am here to support you every step of the way.

My Values
Freedom

Every living being on Earth has the inherent right to freedom and the ability to express will without fear. I respect my clients' autonomy to make choices that align with their values. Freedom is intertwined with responsibility; by taking responsibility for my actions, I embrace the freedom to be myself and make my own decisions.

Connection

As social beings, we coexist with others and, over time, learn to forge various connections. To understand our needs, we often rely on the presence of another person—someone who looks at us with interest and encouragement, and whose hands are ready to offer support. These connections provide us with the essential energy we need to grow and thrive.

Growth

Change is not always comfortable, it requires honesty, courage, and effort. I see my task as a therapist to help clients develop their ability to learn and adapt to the environment and to assimilate new experiences.

Services
Individual psychotherapy/counseling session
A face-to-face consultation is an ideal way to work with your inner unresolved conflicts, to focus on your needs most confidentially.
The online format allows you to save time, and it is very convenient wherever you are, while the in-person format allows you to feel the therapist's presence more, and allows you to do some body-mind therapy exercises.
Group therapy
Group therapy is one of the most effective and cost-effective therapeutic formats. One of the most healing components of group therapy is the sense of connection and realization that the person in the group is not alone in his/her struggles. Group work is a very effective way to become more aware of how we build relationships with others and take steps to remodel them if needed.
Play therapy for children and adolescents
Children love to play! They learn and develop through play, play is the basis for their psychological resilience, that is why I use the method called the Oaklender Model, play therapy based on Gestalt therapy. Artwork, playing with clay, sand, puppets, and other activities allow me to help my little clients create better contact with their Self, therefore becoming able to create more contact with others.
Webinars
Psychoeducation is one of the big parts of my work as a therapist. Webinars might help my potential clients to understand if their values resonate with my approach. I tend to make them informative, clear, structured, and based on the latest research.
